Hiccup,clinic,letter...

Hi everyone...Well,just as we could see the light at the end of the tunnel where the shower unit was concerned, all went pear shape. Today "?" was going fit the glass and doors to the unit, but "?" came across a major hiccup. The shower tray had sunk on one side, just a little bit, but there must be no lee-way with the measurements with the fitting of the glass and he had to take the tray out again. So, "?" has prepaired everything ready to re-install the tray and i helped with a few bits and tidying up. This is really getting us down now. I would'nt mind, last night "?" and i were doing some grouting around the tiles and that was a waste of time as the tiles had to be removed. So, it will be a while before i get to use my new shower...big sigh! It looks like i will have to still go to my daughters for my baths still.

This morning i went to the Diabetic clinic at the DR surgery. I've got to increase my Diabetic medication to 3 daily also my collesterol medication has to be doubled too! The nurse weighed me and i was shocked to what she told me. I weighed myself before i went to the clinic and my own scales lied to me,theres a 6lb diffence. It looks like i've got to buy some new scales. I could'nt tell you how much i weigh as i'm quite disgusted with it. From today, i'm going to be much more stricter with myself...I'm right fed-up with all the negative things going on. Obviously the later is my own fault for not taking better care of myself.

"ST" was here Saturday. He wanted to write a letter to his dad("A")and he was'nt sure how to write it as he's never written a letter before. So,i suggested some topics and he got his letter written and he posted it when we took him home later.Well,thats all for now.So, i will leave it here and best wishes to one and all...Astra!

Is Bipolar Inherited???

Did anyone see Peter Kay on Sunday. He was so funny with his dry humour, he made me laugh and hes brought the record out that he was singing ha! ha! ha! I loved the programe and hope he will be on TV again soon.

Last night i chatted to my friend Kath online, we had a bit of a laugh which was really nice and hope we chat again soon...

Last night, i woke-up in a cold sweat around 4.30am, because i had a nightmare about "A" and it seemed so real. I dreamt that he was being beaten up by a gang in prison, just as you would see in the films on TV. Oh God that was terrible. We had'nt heard from him for quite sometime, then this morning he rang to tell us what had happened when he went to court last week. He told me himself that hes looking at 8 years. I did'nt speak to him much as "?" wanted to talk to him. Apparently "A" said, hes glad hes where he is, because he could have ended up dead the way he was going at the time. He has seen a psychiatrist a few times since hes been there and he believes "A" has got Bipolar ( Manic Depression) He has also been seeing a counciler for anger management which is helping him also, he is free from drugs, he then said feels a lot better in himself and he can now think properly, un-like before, he would never listen to anyone...So now, not only has "?" got Bipolar, but "A" has it too! Now i'm wondering...is Bipolar inherited? I will have to check this out tomorrow... "A" seemed so different on the phone, more happier in himself, hopefully the medication hes been given for this Bipolar will help him. I've been trying not to worry about him, but i do deep down and you can't just shrug off being a parent can you?

Wedding Photo and Clinic...

This is the wedding "ST" went to in September. "L" is on the left at the back,she is "ST" and "J" mum. The bride and the other bridesmaid is "L" sisters. Kneeling in the front row, on the left is "J" "D" who is the brides daughter in the middle and "ST" kneeling on the right. Don't they all look lovely.
"?" went to the Heart clinic this afternoon and was told hes got to see the GP as there seems to be something wrong.He told the nurse who was attending to him about the bad turns he keeps having and she told him, if they happen again he must go to hospital. After saying all that, he still got back in the bathroom to do more work before he can fit in the
shower tray which he intends to do tomorrow. I wish there was someone around to help him though.Hes really wild with his brother "H" for walking out on him, "?" said today, that his brother don't want to ask him for anything anymore like he has done in the past, because he won't be helping him or anyone else in the family again as everyone knows about his health conditions."?" has dropped everything that he was doing himself just to help "H" before now, but never again will he get his help or anyone in the family for that matter. What i mean by help is advice on legal matters ect...

Difficult Time's...

The last few weeks its felt like i've been in a state of confusion, because a number of things have been happening, some i can write about and some i can't.

My son "A" who has been in prison for 5-6 months already and who i have written about before, has recently been told he is looking at serving 8 years in prison from the information i've received from my daughter. "A" has'nt rang or wrote to me for a while, not since "?" (hubby) had told him about a legal situation he was in and "?" was told who had caused this situation. "?" did'nt tell "A" the name of the person ( i can't mention what it actually is here) still, "?" situation was soon put to right and all is ok for him as he had'nt done anything wrong...

"A" is still in my thought's and i'm still worred about what will become of him in the future and hope he will amend his ways.

Four weeks ago,"?" brother "H" started to fit a corner shower unit for me with "?s" help, but things did'nt work out. One thing led to another and "H" left us in the lurch and we hav'nt seen or heard from him since, you can imagine what we are calling him! "?" did'nt do anything to the bathroom for a week as he came over bad with chest pains as he has heart disease and chronic fatigue syndrome and he only lasts roughly about half hour before he gets weak and has to rest. With these health conditions and more, i don't think hes done too bad really on his own. Its been a nightmare clearing up after him as my own health is'nt too good either. When "?" was younger he would attack any task put too him and it would be done...Jack of all trades! I think all the main bits will be all finished this week, i can't wait till its all done, because i've been going to my daughters house for baths.

Not much else has been happening here as i've been stuck in-doors most of
the time other than "?" taking me to the shops. My grandson has been here on Saturdays, he was here today too helping "?" They went to B&Q's to buy a marine board for the shower tray and "ST" (my grandson) helped "?" cut it to shape ready to fit in under the tray on Monday. "ST" done a bit of sawing, he picks things up quickly and i feel proud of him, because i will be able to look at my shower base and think, "ST cut the curve of the marine board for my shower tray and its only the first time he had done anything like this.
