Bon Fire with bad air quality.

Do ya know what!? I really can't understand some people, they must be complete divs or just plain ignorant.
The last couple of days I've approached people because they have lit bon-fires. The air we breath has been so tight with this hot weather. People have been understanding and said sorry and let their fires die down and put them out. But, last night the air was extra tight, it must have been around 90 to 100 decrees, even my electric fan didn't help much either. Anyway, over the back of my garden the people who live there had lit a large bon fire. I shouted out to the people this must have been around 11 - 11:30pm as I said, I shouted out and asked them to put the bon fire out because I couldn't breath. And, a woman shouted back to me and said, 'shut your mouth' in a very nasty way and I replied, 'yeah! I will shut my mouth' then the woman said something back in a nasty way and, I told her to F**k-off. Ok, I know, I know, I shouldn't have retaliated at their level but, I just couldn't help myself at the time. A bit later my G/son looked out of the back bedroom window and the fire was even stronger than before and 2 people waved at him and the night light they have on their wall was facing directly at the back window and 2 people waved at him as if to say F**k you Jack, I'm alright.
I was trying to be nice about asking them to put the fire out but, It seems to have gone pear shaped which I didn't want. I truly don't understand some people. Its their air as well as mine and their children's air they are polluting. Surely their own common sense would tell them not to be so stupid as to light bon fires when no-one can breath properly, especially people like myself who have breathing problems anyway, It just don't make any sense to me.
Then again, why didn't other neighbours complain? I think they are all too frightened to say anything about anything around here. I know the neighbours talk amongst themselves about how bad this sort of thing is and other things that go on around here but, they don't go and complain to anyone about things. It always seems to be me doing all the complaining which makes me look like the bad guy, ya know!? I don't want to complain about anything at all but, when my breathing is affected I've got to say something. I have got breathing problems Asthma and C.O.P.D. any pollution at all affects me but, when there air is so still it is hard to breath even with my inhalers and electric fan and what makes it worse is stupid people who have no idea what it is like to suffer and there are people worse than myself who have bad breathing problems It is wrong. I think if the boot was on the other foot they would certainly be coming to me to complain don't you think??
Today, I am going to ring the council about this and tell them what has happened and yes, what I had said too. I don't really care what happens to me or them because I'm not going to be fobbed off by idiots. I might get an asbo or something for retaliating in the way I did but, I don't care...
