Last Wednesday i went to collect my new 2 pairs of glasses. One for distance and one for reading. This will take time for me to get used as I've been use to wearing bi-focals for many years. I chose the darker lenses because more often than not I'm wearing sun glasses anyway and since getting these new ones i haven't had any headaches, no pains in my eyes and my eyes are not watering so much...they feel perfect for me and i don't care what other people think as long as i feel comortable.
Since last December 2011, I've had my prescription glasses changed 3 times due to my eyes getting worse.
The Optician wanted me to got to Moorfield's Eye Hospital as she has found a mass that needs to be looked at, but i think my eye Dr knows about that anyway as i had a Trabeculectomy Operation on both my eyes last year. I told her i have an appointment January 2013, but she said i need to have an earlier appointment, so i made an earlier appointment myself for 23rd November 2012.
My daughter "SH" has bought me a kindle for Christmas, so i can alter the font when i need too, I'm looking forward to using that.
I can't believe it, my granddaughter "Z" is turning into a girly yob/Goth. Black this and that and heaving black boots too. I said to my daughter "why don't you have a ring through her nose too and "Z" said "No nan, i want a stud in my nose and tongue. What can i say about that when her own mother was the same when she was younger even though her father and I were against how she looked back in 1980's.
This is "SH" and my grandson "ST" above. "ST" is wearing a pair of "SH" heavy Doc Martin boots...Hob Nail Boots is what i call them..haha! This photo was taken 1994.
