LOOK AFTER YOUR EYES!! Thers no warning, No symptoms for GLAUCOMA!!

New Years Eve was quite. I was going to go out but changed my mind and just stayed in and watched TV, i just couldn't be bothered with all the hustle and bustle of it all, still i was happy and contented on my own, its not really my sort of thing anyway or maybe i've stayed indoors for to long to go out and enjoy myself.
The holiday itself  seemed too long and seemed to linger on too much for me. Normally i like the holiday times, but this one and Christmas were both too long, i got restless a lot and just got on with extra chores. Now that the holidays are over perhaps we can get back to normal with our everyday issues, but saying that, i wonder what 2011 will bring.

Sometimes i still wish it was last year as the time is getting near to my appointment with Moorefields Eye Hospital 4th March and arrangements will be made for the op on both my eyes which is worrying me now. I know this will sound daft, but its not the op thats worrying me, its the stitch on each eye that bothers me as its bad enough when i get a bit of grit in the eye which feels like a brick, but the stitch will have to be there for at least 1 week so i was told by the Dr.
I was told by the Dr. if i don't have the op i will go blind within months rather than years (glaucoma) and if i do have the op it would prolong the process of blindness, but won't stop me from going blind...
So, people look after your eyes, its important.
Glaucoma creeps up on you without any warning or symptoms and with regular check-ups at the Opticians, if the Optician thinks you have it he will send you along to The Eye Clinic for further tests. I was told a number of years ago i would have to have an op at some time, but nothing more was said on the subject and i thought i heard wrong and i cancelled several appointments and thought it was a waste of time me going and i told them i was't going there any more as i thought it a waste of my time, but i was proved wrong! So what i'm trying to say is LOOK AFTER YOUR EYES its important.

I have 42" TV and i'm sitting close to it and the words seem blurred even with my glasses on and sometimes the faces blur over too. Its the same with my laptop i have zoom on 150 or i can't see the writting and sometimes i have it on 200 as things seem blurry and the smaller print on top of my screen i seem to struggle and stare with reading that.
