This week has been fairly quite. Last Wednesday we went to Southend-On-Sea for the day, weather was good, "ST" and "Z" enjoyed themselves on the amusements and rides. "?" and myself were tired and fatigued once again, maybe its our age and health that is against us. Road works are still being carried out along the sea front and has been going on for quite a while now. We're hoping to be going out again this week sometime to Clacton-On-Sea which is'nt too far away, weather and health permitting that is...
My daughter "SH" and granddaughter "Z" has gone to their friends house for the weekend at Ockley and will be back Sunday evening...
"L" picked up "ST" this morning and went to a park near ILford somewhere today, not sure where as "ST" is very vague about it, "ST" and "J" had a good time thats the main thing...
As for "?" and myself, today has been peaceful. "?" watched the horse racing on TV once he place his bets for today. He only bets now and again, not like he used to, he used to gamble a lot at one time. And i went to watched TV in my bedroom and read some of my new book "Two Faced"-by-Mandsue Heller as i'm not keen on the racing myself...
I went along to the chemist once i had placed "?" bets for him, i had ordered some prescriptions over the phone earlier this week , some of them were missing, so i had to re-order while i was there. We alway seem to get trouble with our chemist, i don't think they know what their doing at times. A couple of times we've had someone elses prescription in with ours and other people have complained about this happening to them too. And, we have been given short supply of meds too before now, which makes me think they may be on the fiddle...but no proof, although we've argued with the chemist himself over this situation. A new chemist has recently taken over...
Tomorrow, i will have to knuckle down and do some chores as i've slacked off a bit this week and i can see plenty to do, it seems to have piled up very quickly...sigh!
