Aunt "D", Aunt "G",Age Concern and Illnesses

Theres been quite a bit happening since my last entry. My son "A" came home from prison 17th December and has been doing things right which i am really pleased about and hope he continues to do so for his own sake.

I spent christmas with my daughter "SH" and my grandaughter "Z" which was very nice and we had some fun playing board games and on the wii machine. I gave "SH" money for christmas and "Z" i gave her money and a bag of goodies whichshe was really happy with.

My aunt "D" passed away 29th December from kidney failier and i miss her terribly. But, i do have some fond happy memories of her which i shall treasure.

New year i was on my own which was nice as i do like my own company doing what i want to do. I wastched TV,read some of my new book The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown which "?" had bought me for christmas as well as a new coat for me. I gave him money so he could buy what he wanted.

"?" "SH" and myself attended aunt "D" funeral 15th January at Corbets Tey crem Upminster. Several of my family attended, most of them i did'nt recognise at all as i had'nt seen them for about 30-40 years. I spoke to a couple of my cousins and we will be keeping in contact.

I have been in contact with my aunt "G" who i have mentioned before. I intende to visit her after christmas ,but the weather was too bad to go anywhere, then i got a bad chest infection and could'nt go round to see her. I rang aunt "G" to explain and it turns out she was ill too and we still are.

I have been really bad with this infection 2 lots of antibiotics and 1 lot of steroids which i have just finished. I'm still having breathing problems and trouble with my Asthma, if i'm not any better by Monday i will be going back to my GP. The problem seems to be in my right lung which my GP had told me when i see him,it still feels like it too. I hav'nt been able to do any light chores at all due to fatigue or bathe properly as i could'nt hold my arms up long enough before i was worn out, i do hate being like this. Yesteday, i did do a couple of light chores and rested in between, but i was unable to shower as i was too fatigued. Today however, i was able to shower, but i did'nt do any light chores though, i just rested most of the day as i was feeling a bit rough in myself. I will be glad when the warmer weather comes so i can get out a bit more and sit in the sun.

Aunt "G" has been bad with this chest infection too and she too has been having problems with her Asthma too. I have been ringing her to see if shes ok as she lives on her own.She has had a bad time the last couple of months with her sister who had passed away before christmas and her friend also passed away just after christmas. Aunt "G" asked me to get help from Age Concern, so i phoned my daughter "SH" as works for Age Concern and she has been getting some home visits for her and seeing to her needs.

"SH" is prepareing for exams, all to do with Age Concern and is at this moment doing her home work which has to be in by 15th February. Shes not sure if she will get through it or not as they're asking so much from her. I told her all she can do is her best. She really wants to do this work too. I do hope she manages to do it. "Z" will be staying with me over night 14th February si "SH" can revise some quitely the night before, then go for the exam on 15th.

"?" has been having problems with bipolar. In one way its a good thing as he is keeping his mind occupied by making cupboards in my bedroom, but he don't seem to slow down which is really getting to me, he seems to be doing things so fast although i am pleased with what he has done. Hes made 2 wall cupboards in the alcoves and 2 large bedside cabinets both sides of my bed which i am really pleased with. What i don't like is he is so anxious to do things and comes over fatigued ill in himself a lot which is'nt good for him...It worries me and all i can do is keep an eye on him as he takes no notice of what i say to him. I feel that one day he will actually collapse. He has been anxious to do things since he had the stents put in his heart roughly 5-6 years ago now. He actually cleaned his car out the same day he came home from the Royal London Hospital where they performed the operation and he was told he had to rest.

Well thats all my news for now, so to all my online friends Best Wishes and Take Care...Astra!
