Last week i went along for my appointment with a nurse for assessment for colonscopy which will be done at Whitechapple Hospital.I tried to get out of it,but it seems something was detected that needs looking into and i will get the appointments sometime in July, so i'm not looking forward to that day. I've had a colonscopy 3 times before,so i know the procedure. For anyone who has to have this done for the first time, it don't hurt, but it is just a little bit uncomfortable and nothing to worry about.
This Friday "ST" and myself are going to the opticians. Mine is a follow up each year, but i might get new frames and a pair of sunglasses made up too! "ST" has never had his eyes tested before so this is new to him.He is having problems focusing at times. I think he might need glasses and i think he may be short sighted the same as myself, but that's for the optician to diagnose not me. My son "A" has been wearing glasses for about a month now, he is short sighted.
"?" had a CT scan of the brain a couple of weeks ago now and is still waiting for the results. I phoned the consultants secretary today, but the results haven't come back yet. "?" gets terrible headaches and takes a lot of pain killers.
My daughter "SH" was going to take "ST" with her this Saturday to see Terminator Salvation, but she's not going now. I feel bad because "ST" has been let down again and i'm thinking, if i'm feeling ok on Saturday or maybe during next week, i will try to take him myself, but i will get "?" to drop us off door to door. Last time i went to the cinema was to see the second Harry Potter film with "A","L" and "ST".
"ST" is well away with the laptop i bought and i've been able to come online when ever i wanted to and able to stay online long enough to play a couple of games and comment on a couple of blogs. "ST" has got his last GCSE next Wednesday 22/6. He is pleased that they're all done and dusted.
Last Thursday, i took "ST" to the DRs as he has got an ingrowing toenail due to his shoes being too small when he was living at home. The GP gave him some antibiotics as his toe is infected and has refered him to a podicare clinic, so now he's waiting for an appointment for that to be done.
I'm still reading my books. I've read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown which was good and i've just finished reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown which i think is also a good book, i hope the film is as good as i intend to buy the DVD when its released. I am now reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. Do you know what, i've gone mad about Dan Brown books lately.

Good morning Astra. This is the first time I have been able to get to your blog.Everytime I got an e. mail telling me you had posted when I went to your blog the postings were still th eold ones not the new posting ?.Well I pray your results from the hospital will turn out good.I also hope ? does too.Yes bad fitting shoes can cause lots of problems withthe feet.We were so poor when I was a kid my father used to put black polish on ours instead of buying shoes Haaaaaaaaaaaaa (Only joking of course).Eyes are my priority when I come back from my break I am thinking to have the lazer treatment done at Leeds.Lets hope they are suitable for that treatment as I want to be rid of my glasses if it's possible.Enjoy the film if you go.I am reading Meg Hutchingson books at the moment.Good to be back reading about you and yours.Take Care God Bless Kath xx
