Day Out, GCSE, Hospital App, Another day out

Monday was a good day. "?" and i picked "ST" and "J" up from "Ls" then we picked "Z" up and took them out for the day to Southend-On-Sea. We all had a really good time we let the kids do what they wanted while "?" and i rested and the kids chose what they wanted for dinner and extras. and we spent a lot of time in the arcades and and they went on a lot of rides and amusements and we spent some time on the beach. There was quite alot of people on the beach and some people swimming in the sea.


"ST" should get his GCSE results this Thursday (tomorrow), hes getting a bit anxious as to whether he will get his letter in time as hes got to go to the college on Thursday or Friday this week to enrol.

Today has been a bit of a stressful. "?" went along to see his neurologist today. The consultant told him his spine is causing most of his problems. He told her about the pain he was in for a couple of weeks and had to use crutches to get around on, she said he should be using walking sticks now as he sometimes loses his balance or collapses, but he is too self conscious to use them while out. What ever is the matter with some people i don't know. The way i see it if someone needs help in this way why not use the aids provided. "?" only used the crutches indoors and struggled while out, it seems daft to me.

Tomorrow "?" and i are going out for the day, not sure where we're going yet though. We will walk a little, but not too much, enough to get some exercise...Well thats all for now as i'm going to have an early night... Astra!

My Guestbook
Sometimes i wonder why i'm bothering to write in this blog at times. I hardly get any comments and i hav'nt a clue if anyone has visited my blog.

I've added my Guestbook which was originally my AOL Guestbook to this blog, please pop in and sign my Guestbook, but i'm wondering why and how its ended up on here and not on my side bar where its supposed to be or maybe, it appears in each entry i post aye?

My daughter "SH" and grandaughter came round for the day. "SH" ended up on my laptop and sorted a few things out for me. She is waiting for her new laptop to arrive, she should receive it on Monday.

I bought a new book called "SAIL" Its a murder mystery thriller. It looks good and i can't wait to get my teeth into that one. At the moment i'm reading "Vengeance" by Susan Lewis. I started to read this book about a year ago, but could'nt get into it, so i thought i would pick up from where i left off.

We hav'nt been out anywhere except for shopping mostly because "?" has been unwell but we hope to take the grandchildren out for a day soon before the end of the school holidays.

What am I like...Brain Dead or What?

I went along for my Endoscopy test and am pleased to say all is ok and nothing sinister except for my ongoing conditions that i have always suffered from that are bad enough,but not life threatening. My daughter "SH" and granddaughter "Z" came with me.

When we came out of the hospital we went and looked on some of the market stalls directly outside Whitechapple train station,then we went to get some lunch before we made our way back to the train station to come home.

We got on the train to come home and sat directly opposite a man and woman who looked familiar to me.The man looked directly at me and i looked at him,but still my mind did not register who this person was and the lady next to him, we glanced at each other at times and as i got off the train they were looking at me as the train pulled out of the station. Nothing was registering in my brain,but i knew i must have known them. It wasn't until i got home that i thought it could have been my cousin and his wife,but then again i was unsure and very vague. So, when i got home i rang my aunt "D" and told her my story and how unsure i was. So aunt "D" rang "J" and "M" and it turned out it was them and they too were unsure it was me. A bit later i rang "J" and "M" to apologise for not recognising them,but it was an answerphone,so i left my message on the phone...I don't know what it is with me,but this happens to me all the time, i don't seem to be recognising people. People have said hello to me and i haven't a clue who they were or i've walked straight past people without even recognising them so i've been told, People must think i'm stuck-up or ignoring them or something. I would never do that to anyone on purpose in a million years...Brain dead or what?

"ST" has gone to stay at his mums for a week,so i've got time to spend in my own company for a while. This Friday "ST" and "J" are going to visit "A" with "E" and little Alfie.

I was thinking of getting rid of my computer which is a Q-Tech and just keeping my laptop. I might ring a computer shop who deal with reconditioning computers to see what they would give for it sometime this week. I hav'nt a clue how much it is worth, i've had it since 2005-6 not sure at this moment how long untill i look it up.

"?" has had a bad day again. This afternoon, he was laying on the floor to try to ease the pain in his spine and as he was pulling himself up on the crutch he fell and could'nt save himself and hit his head on the floor,just as well he was on the carpet or he could have hurt himself more. He was ok once he got to his feet, i say ok but he is hurting just as much as before.

Well, i'm going to watch some TV for the rest of the night before retiring to my bed .Astra!

Appointments,DVD's,Blogs

Last Friday "?" returned home from his holiday. The holiday was spoilt because his health was'nt too good and he had a few bad turns while there. One day he went for a stroll and watched the carnival parade, then it rained and had to take shelter in a shop where he met Martin Clunes who was opening the shop as i mentioned in my last entry and they chatted for a while and shook hands and "?" left the shop once the rain had stopped and went to watch the parade, then a bit later Martin Clunes came up walking along next to him, they chatted further, "?" had his picture taken with him and some more pictures were taken he thinks they were for the local paper, they chatted some more in between Martin signing autographs. Then,they shook hands again and went their separate ways. I know that cheered "?" up no end that Martin Clunes had chatted to him as he's always liked him and watches his programs. "?" said Martin was so nice to talk too...

This week, "?" has'nt been too well and is in a lot of pain and has been having walking problems, he is getting around with crutches as he is having difficulty getting in and out of chairs and the car ect.... He went along to the GP on Monday and gave him more pain killers which is'nt doing anything for him, he told him to tell the hospital when he goes there and i think he needs to go to the hospital now. I'm thinking that he's over done the walking about or standing for too long while away that's brought all this on or maybe, the spine has dropped further which has happened in the past or a bone is cutting a nerve or something like that(he is already leaning on one side where his spine has collapsed)He's got his next appointment with the neurologist at the end of this month and hes going to tell them whats happening to him and i hope they can do something for him.

Tomorrow, i've got my appointment to have a colonscopy done at The Royal London Hospital at Whitechapple. My daughter "SH" and "Z" are coming with me as "?" is'nt well enough to drive me there plus theres no parking anyway. I've to have this done because there were some abnormalities in tests that were done previous on three occasions. I don't know if i will be told the results tomorrow or whether i will have to see my GP as yet.

"ST" and i watched a DVD he had bought "City Rats" with Danny Dyer and what a load of rot that was. Even "ST" thinks the same. The film is about all the things i despise in life...Saturday, "ST" and i watched the DVD i had bought "Knowing" with Nicholas Cage, we both thought it was a good film.

This morning i browsed some blogs and commented on a few. It made me think about writing in this blog of mine more often and i realised how much i had missed writing and visiting my online friends blogs too!

Now i'm off to browse some more for a while before i settle down with my book or watch some TV if theres anything on worth watching that is.
