Martin Clunes,Town Show,DVD's

This week has been quite really.Yesterday, i tried to post an entry,but had a problem when i tried to publish.

"ST" got his school report which was is really good and "ST" is pleased with it too! "?" is away this week and will return this Friday. He has phoned every day to see if all was ok and to let me know where he's been. He told me he spoke and shook hands with the actor Martin Clunes yesterday. Martin Clunes was opening a shop where "?" was at the time.

I hav'nt done anything in the way of chores since Friday,but i will have to knuckle down during the week before "?" returns on Friday.

It's little Alfies 1st birthday on Wednesday,bless him. I already gave his mum "E" his birthday card and some money to buy what she would like for him..."ST" has got an assessment appointment with the podicare clinic Wednesday too, as "?" is'nt around to take him "L" will be taking him instead.

Yesterday, was Barking & Dagenham Town Show. My daughter "SH" and "Z" went to the Town Show and waited there untill the carnival arrived as "Z" friends were partisipating in the parade..."L" and "J" came to pick "ST" up around 2pm to go to the Town Show for a couple of hours.

Last Friday "ST" and i went into Romford where i bought a couple of tops for myself. We did'nt stay too long as it was too tiring for me and needed to get home.

I pre-ordered a DVD "Knowing" with Nickolas Cage, that won't be released untill 3/8/09 so i've got to wait for that one. I also ordered a film DVD for "ST"..."City Rats" with Danny Dyer, that should be here this week sometime.

Today, i made pie and mash for our dinnner for "ST" and myself. There is some left over for "ST" for his dinner tomorrow,that is his favourite dinner. Well, i'm off now to browse some before i get our tea's ready then i'm going to settle down and watch some TV with "ST" this evening.

Appointment news

Well,its been a while again since my last entry. I hav'nt felt like writting anything really lately,but i have been browsing a few websites and reading my book and had a few early nights.

"ST" has got glasses now,he is shortsighted and has Rugby Ball Syndrome which is something to do with shortsightedness...Myself,i have got stronger lenses and i also had a pair of sunglasses made up for myself as the light often hurts my eyes.I was told the glaucoma has got worse in my right eye and i have got some cateract in both eyes.

Today, i went along for my MRI scan for chiari,so thats all done and dusted...I've got my appointment for colonscopy 4/8/09 at The Royal London Hospital at Whitechapple,London. Yesterday, i received instuctions and meds i need to take the day before my appointment. I must say i'm not looking forward to those days thats for sure.

"ST" is in Spain at the moment with his mum and her family,they are expected back this Saturday coming.I hope the weather was ok out there and they all enjoyed their holiday.

"?" results of the CT scan came back ok and was told its his spine that is causing his pains and headaches. .."?" has got his appoinment with Urology next Thursday.

My combi-boiler has been playing up lately and still is. I had the council here to put it right.They put a new board in it,but its still the same,what a waste of money and they don't come cheap those boards, i don't think these young workmen know what they're doing.I will ring the council tomorrow again and ask them to send someone older who knows what they're doing.

I've been using MY new laptop while "ST" is away,it is much better than my computer which running right shabby and slow.

Next week "?" and "ST" and myself might be going out for the day if the weather is ok,but not sure where we will be going yet.It will probably be Southend-On-Sea or Haignault Forest.

I've been reading a lot of Dan Brown books lately. I'm reading Deception Point at the moment.It was slow at getting to the story,but it is quite a good book and i'm enoying reading it.I've read most of Dan Browns books and i like his style of writting.I've yet to buy his latest book The Lost Symbol.
