Mothers Day

I hope every Mother who reads this has a great Mothers day today. Last Thursday i went along with "ST" for his interview at Barking college, all went well and he has been accepted at this stage, but will have to see how he does in his GCE exams. He is expected to pass with high grades.

"ST" has gone to his mums for the weekend as they were gong to "L" mums for Mothers Day and will be back later today. I opened my cards, one from "SH" and "Z" and one from Little Alfie for nan with a mug that says a special nan.

My daughter "SH" phoned this morning to wish me a Happy Mothers Day. She is at her friends house for the weekend in Maldern, Essex and will be back later today too!

Myself, i just got on with a few chores before coming online. I will have to make the most of this before "ST" comes back, then i won't get a look in...lol.

"A" phoned this morning soon after "SH" to wish me a Happy Mothers Day and we had a little chat. "E" had already explained to "A" why i could'nt visit him and he understood me..."E" came by with little Alfie Thursday afternoon when we got back from the college. Little Alfie has got really big now and has 2 bottom teeth bless him and he is all clingy to his mum, his face has changed a bit now, he is getting some features now and is looking more like "A". "E" had brought a Mothers Day card and mug round from little Alfie for me which i thought was sweet.

I still can't find my watch that i thought i lost at Morrisons when i was shopping the other week, i think someone must have picked it up, i would'nt mind, i bought a new battery for it not long ago.

Well, my time is up as i've got a couple of things to do, so, from one mum to another "Happy Mothers Day" to all you mums.

Do you know what? I can't believe that i've got to my computer again tonight. "ST" has got tired of the computer for the night and has gone to his room to play a game on his X-box, so i thought i would write another entry.

"A" phoned today to ask if i was going to visit him, but i said no i was'nt going. I felt bad in myself for saying that. I did tell "?" yesterday that i wanted to visit "A" and he reminded me of my health conditions and the length of time of travelling by train and 4 hours family visit. I then realised i would not make it due to the IBS problems i have and other health conditions to consider too! I think "A" will think that i don't want to go to see him, so i think i will have to explain this to "E" about it so she can tell "A" the reason why i'm not going. "A" said "E" will be round sometime this week with little Alfie, not sure when though!

This evening i was watching Freddie Starr on ITV4. It was about his house being haunted and he was possessed by a spirit and was exorcised. phew... I tell you, it put the wind up me, i will have to keep my lights on all night now and read some of my book to take my mind off it, "ST" is laughing his head off at me...cheeky whatsit!!!

The Essex water board has started work along my road, so i expect they will be here at my house sometime next week to install new pipework. The water will be cut off for a few days and they will be issueing water bottles for the time the work will be carried out. I'm dreading it and wondering what mess they will be making.

College,Falls,Wind-up,Surprise,VO,Reading and Laptop?

Its been quite a while since my last entry. Things seem to be running more smoothly at the moment. I went along to Barking College to enrol "ST". I don't know how this will pan out at the moment, but i do hope "ST" will be able to get into politics as he this is what he wants to do or somewhere along those lines as he is very politicaly minded. He has got an interview next week for Business studies, so he will know whether or not he will be excepted, i do hope so as he has got his heart set on Politics. This week he has been away from school as he has been quite ill with Tonsilitis and a chest infection and the DR gave him some antibiotics...Last week, i was ill myself with a chest infection, but i am ok now thank goodness!



During the bad weather, "?" had a couple of bad falls on the ice in one day, he did'nt break anything, but it has hurt him and still hurts at times and is very weary going up and down stairs ect...I think it has contributed to his arthritis which is playing up lately too! Myself, i did'nt venture out at all while the ice was around for fear of falling myself.



A couple of weeks ago, i had "Z" stay over at the weekend. We all had a lovely time together, mind you, "ST" and "Z" did have their moments winding each other up...cheeky monkey's!



Last week i had a lovely surprise, "E" text me out of the blue and wanted to bring little Alfie round to see me, but i had to put her off as "ST" was ill at the time and still is, so i will let her know when she can come round when "ST" is over his illness. "E" said little Alfie has got 2 teeth now ( bless him)



I got a couple of letters from "A" hes ok and i've written to him. He says hes put on quite a bit of weight being that he works in the canteen at the prison and he gets extra food. Hes like me puts weight on very easily and working with food don't help none either. "A" wants "?" and me to go and visit him, he has put us both on a VO ( visiting order) for the 29/3 with "E",Alfie,"ST" and "J". I would like to go to see him, but i'm not sure if "?" will go or whether he will be wild at me for even thinking of going as "?" has got strong feelings for not going to visit him and i don't blame him for feeling that way as "A" has done him wrong, still i've got a few days to think about it before i get in a row with him over this one...i sweat hot bricks thinking about it, because i know what he will say, but i can't help my own feelings towards "A"... i have mellowed towards him, but saying that i am still aware.

I bought 2 books "No Time For Goodbye" this book i just could'nt put down and i really enjoyed the read. And "Dead Mans Footsteps" which i am still reading and again enjoying it. I have been into reading quite a lot lately as i could'n get to my computer as "ST" hogs it most of the time, so i don't get a look in these days. I also bought 2 DVDs as well. "Mama-Mia" and "Ghost Town" both of these i enjoyed.

I'm thinking of buying a reconditioned laptop. I've seen one for £279.00. It has vista, 15" screen, graphics card and built in webcam which sounds good to me, but i don't know about laptops and i'm not sure if its worth buying a reconditioned one or not? Any thoughts on that anyone?Anyway, that will have to wait for a couple of months i think!
